I just wanted to let you know that, although I have not written lately, I have been praying for your friend and you, and I intend to keep praying. I can imagine the pain, fear and confusion she has been experiencing, and the questions that must arise in your own heart. I have been away from the board for several days, so perhaps you have given an update concerning this precious one which I have not yet read, but you have both been on my mind, in my heart, and on my lips as I lifted you up to our Father. Indeed He is all-knowing, all-merciful, and altogether sovereign, even in the midst of those situations we find most distressing and perplexing. Truly He knows why, and He knows us, too, neither is anything in vain or counted loss with Him.
